2. WWE Promos "Drove Him Nuts"

Vince McMahon was determined to ensure that Big Show reminded people he's "seven foot tall and 500 pounds" in every single promo, and that drove Paul Wight "nuts". Repeating the same things over and over (no matter how obvious they were) was a weekly nightmare for him.

The giant didn't much like having "5'8 writers" pen material for him about living as such a huge human being either. They didn't have any grasp on what it was like day-to-day, so they just annoyed Paul by handing him the same scripts time and time again, and almost all of them made him "sound like a dumb-ass".

Wow.

This tiresome trend wore him down year after year. It was what McMahon and staff wanted, however, so he gave them it. Having the freedom to speak about things other than his well-established physical size is something Wight can't wait for now he's in AEW.
