10 Things We Learned From Paul Wight On Talk Is Jericho

1. Why He Couldn’t Watch Raw Or SmackDown

This is quite the admission.

Wight admitted to Jericho that "it wasn't fun" to think about pro wrestling when he was part of the WWE system. That was especially true nearer the end of his stint with the company, and it's why the big man rarely sat down to watch Raw or SmackDown at all.

He was totally burned out on WWE's creative process, and the last thing he wanted to do when he wasn't on the road was take in more of the promotion's product. So, Raw and SmackDown were put to the back of the queue when Wight sat down to catch up on some TV back home.

Paul is hopeful that he'll start enjoying the spectacle of wrestling again now he's in AEW. Doing some commentary will help with that, and so will seeing new talents he's never come across before. Raw and SmackDown? Yeah, he won't be watching much of that.
