The Enzo and Big Cass 'whodunnit' continued in earnest, with a Charley Caruso interview even acknowledging suspicions that Cassady could be behind the muggings Amore has suffered in previous weeks.

The two blew the speculation off, but later developments saw Big Cass blindsided and one of Enzo's gaudy chains left at the scene of the crime, implying that maybe mistrust has gotten the better of the Jersey duo.

Yet again WWE offered what could be the perfect red herring in the form of The Revival, who could be seen suspiciously loitering backstage yet again during Mike Rome's interview with a departing Kurt Angle.

Enzo's makeshift tag team with The Big Show drew further suspicion from Cass following the duo's demeaning squash over Gallows and Anderson, but they eventually buddied up enough to paper over the cavernous cracks emerging.

As it stands, the lack of suspects beyond Dash, Dawson and Cass hurts the angle somewhat, but as with Kurt's current telephone troubles (more on that later), WWE have done a fine job inserting intrigue into an act in desperate need of a significant story to tell.
