10 Things We Learned From Post-Extreme Rules WWE Raw (June 5)

'Mad, bad mother-shut your mouth' isn't the strongest PG catchphrase the company could have given R-Truth, but in every other sense, WWE are hugely over-delivering with his burgeoning rivalry with former partner Goldust.

This week, he took aim at Truth's theft of his movie motifs in an effort to 'take back his director's chair', but based on the response video that followed later in the show, his message fell on deaf ears.

'The Bizarre One' has been fantastic in his 1995 comeback tour, offering a more cynical take on much of the meaningless fodder that makes up WWE's bloated three-hour flagship show.

Truth has subsequently worked up to it in the same way he did during his bewildering 2011 heel turn and WWE Title push against then-champion John Cena. Imbibing a sense of seriousness and realism amongst the clowning, Ron Killings has a method of finding weird depth in the fairly one-dimensional R-Truth character when he absolutely has to, and the encounter presumably due to take place at July's Great Balls Of Fire pay-per-view subsequently has a chance of being one of the best built on the entire show.
