10 Things We Learned From Randy Orton On Stone Cold's Broken Skull Sessions Podcast

1. He Had "No Interest" In Working Drew McIntyre

This was rather unexpected.

Randy was brutally honest when he looked Austin in the eye and said he had "no interest" in working with Drew McIntyre last year. He did admire how the Scot had clawed his way back to WWE after being released in 2014, but he didn't really want to work a program with him in 2020.

Together, Drew and Orton worked stunners at SummerSlam, Clash Of Champions, Hell In A Cell and on the 16 November Raw. By the time HIAC rolled around, Randy believed they'd established a good level of chemistry. He also grew to really respect McIntyre's style ("Drew's a body guy who can work") and enjoyed his candour during his own 'Broken Skull Sessions' appearance.

Following the WWE Title switch on Raw last November, Drew approached Randy backstage and told him that he'd helped him "more than anybody else in the business". That meant the world to Orton, and showed him that he could give back to the industry - it's not all take, take, take.

Really cool moment.
