10 Things We Learned From Ron Simmons On Stone Cold’s Broken Skull Podcast

8. Reminiscing Is Some Giggle

Onto something lighter.

Seeing Steve and Ron relive a WCW match they had from early-1992 is a blast. They’re so into it on 'Broken Skull', and seem to be throwing every punch. This short segment around 15-20 minutes in is why Austin’s show is one of the best; he f*cking loves wrestling, and that comes across.

It's so cool to watch he and Simmons critique everything from working punch technique to the way they took bumps. The pair even found time for some Paul Heyman chat (he was at ringside with Austin in the clips) and put him over. This is the kind of quality, positive content that WWE needs more of.

Steve and Ron shared a little fist bump at the end, and that'll make even the coldest person feel warm inside. They were drunk on wrasslin', which is awesome to see. Austin's match recaps are typically great, but this was next level.
