10 Things We Learned From Ron Simmons On Stone Cold’s Broken Skull Podcast

2. What He’s Really Most Proud Of

Big Ron is obviously proud of his own accomplishments, but something else makes him tick. Namely, the fact that everybody in his Nation Of Domination stable (during the faction's most successful period) splintered off and experienced successes of their own as singles stars.

They all went on to "bigger and better things" once the group split.

The Rock became a wrestling/Hollywood megastar, Mark Henry eventually stopped stumbling to become World Champion, D'Lo won most of the company's midcard titles, and The Godfather became...well, The Godfather - everyone knows that pimpin' ain't easy. Ahem.

Seriously though, it means a ton to Ron that his stablemates (men he took under his wing) managed to pivot out of the Nation into their own things. He isn't the jealous type, and never has been, so he's delighted they got to live out their dreams.

That's a real heartfelt sentiment right there. Simmons couldn't have come across any classier during 'Broken Skull Sessions'.
