3. A Fact That Even Ron Didn’t Know

Simmons has known D'Lo Brown since the mid-1990s, but even he didn't know that Brown was actually in attendance when he won the WCW World Title in '92. Yes, it's true - Austin's researchers found out that D'Lo was a fan in Baltimore when Ron bagged the big belt.

He couldn't believe it, and looked around in disbelief in-studio.

Brown has never mentioned this to Ron despite working with him for so many years. They still talk "every month" to this day, and it hasn't come up during their conversations; Simmons promised Steve that he'd ask his pal about it next time they chatted on the phone.

It's mad that Ron and D'Lo would come together as on-screen partners a few years later. It's also crazy that Simmons had such a huge influence on Brown during the WWF's 'Attitude' days, and even before that when the future mid-carder was a ticket-buying punter in the stands.
