1. The APA Had Real Bar Fights

Try telling that to the poor sods he battered in pubs though.

Simmons admitted that he and Bradshaw would walk into bars during their prime years together as a tag-team and know exactly who was gonna pick fights with them. They weren't shy about defending themselves either, and often got into chaotic bar fights with punters.

'Stone Cold' wasn't aware of this fact, or that the skits The APA worked on TV were based on real-life events. For some reason, select wrestling fans had a nasty habit of trying to prove their alpha male status against Faarooq and Bradshaw. No prizes for guessing how well that worked out for them.

The bar fights Ron worked on telly were pretty stiff too. He liked to work snug generally, and didn't mind being hit hard himself. So, basically, screw being an extra in those scenes. Simmons and JBL probs forgot they weren't actually scrapping more than once.
