10 Things We Learned From Samoa Joe On Talk Is Jericho

8. Working With Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle is arguably Joe's most closely identified rival from his time in TNA, with AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels making the list as well. The two drew one of the best buyrates the company's ever had and their matches were a unique fusion of pro wrestling and MMA. Jericho asks what it was like working with Kurt and Joe has nothing but good things to say about the Olympic gold medalist. He calls Angle a workhouse who will plow through any injury and put it on all the line. "For all that Kurt's accomplished, he's still one of those guys that the thought of phoning it in just appalls him." Joe points out that when Angle made the move to TNA he didn't want anyone to look at it as a demotion, and says that when he jumped to the promotion they had a great roster of guys that were firing on all cylinders.
