Corey seemed obsessed with Shane's early years in the business and asked him what he did before actually working matches or appearing as as on-screen character. Shane played along with this trip down memory lane by recalling his years of service as a ring boy.

His only task was to wear a WWF blazer, take jackets and other props from wrestlers before their matches and then made sure to hang them up or place them in the correct locker rooms. Shane's reward for doing this was access to company production meetings alongside his father and Pat Patterson.

What a gig that is.

Shane's first creative meetings came when he was only 11 or 12 years old. He'll never forget Pat's lengthy psychology lectures or seeing things get heated when his dad wasn't convinced they were on the right creative path. That must have been captivating for a boy.
