9. WWE's Roster Would Literally Stretch Him

Maybe not as "captivating" as getting your arse booted by the roster though.

From a young age, Shane could stroll into the locker room and socialise with WWF talent. The hidden downside to that is that some would stretch the sh*t out of him simply for being Vince's kid. They wouldn't hurt him, but they probably had fun with it if daddy dearest had wronged them in some way.

Shane viewed this as valuable experience, because it opened him up to a world of styles that were different from the WWF's "sports entertainment" approach. Weirdly, the young McMahon began studying martial arts and other forms of pro wrestling after being on the receiving end of some unique submissions from workers backstage.

He still thinks he was blessed to see a different side of workers that other fans didn't. Most of the guys in question were straight up brawlers, and rarely showcased their true range of skills on TV. Shane saw it up close and personal first hand.
