As odd as it may sound now, WWE were pretty new to the concept of shooting live television when they started running Saturday Night's Main Event specials on NBC in 1985. By 1989, that was still the case, and it led to a (frankly hilarious) Hogan gaff live on air as part of the 3 February episode.

Having carried an injured Elizabeth backstage after Savage unintentionally landed on her at ringside (during a match against Big Boss Man and Akeem, also known as The Twin Towers), Hulk was worried about the timing of his segment.

Turning to NBC producer Dick Ebersol for a cue, Hogan, in true carny fashion, asked what the "tiz-ime" was.

Anyone rushing to watch this blooper on the WWE Network will be disappointed. WWE have removed the line from their edit, but fans watching live on TV in '89 would have heard it in full glory. Prichard, despite being part of the production, found it comical.
