Whilst his WWE release is still very raw, and with Lio Rush himself throwing up questions of whether he'll ever even wrestle again, we broached the subject of his feelings towards WWE right now.

Clearly this is an emotionally charged time for the hugely talented Rush, but during our chat we discussed whether or not his WWE experience had soured his opinion on the company to the point where he'd rule out ever returning to Vince McMahon's sports entertainment juggernaut.

The wrestling business has long been based on the mantra of 'never say never', and Lio's response when asked whether his stance on WWE may change in the future was, "That's a hard question right now, because I feel the way that I feel about the whole thing - disappointed and frustrated and things like that. I never want to rule out anything. I think that anything's possible, but it is gonna take a lot. There's so much with WWE that I just don't agree with morally, and it sucks, but if the right opportunity presented itself for myself and my family, I would definitely consider it. But I'm not just gonna come running as soon as they blow the whistle."

Of course, these days WWE isn't the be-all and end-all of the wrestling business that it has for so long been, and should Rush never return to the company then that wouldn't stop him from becoming a huge star of the business in another big promotion.
