While being let go from your job is never a good thing, particularly in these most unique of times that we're living in, the one good thing about the pro wrestling business right now is the number of viable options on the table for talents once travel restrictions are finally lifted.

Away from WWE, companies such as AEW, NWA, MLW, Ring of Honor, IMPACT, and New Japan Pro Wrestling are all available to international TV audiences, without taking into account the amount of independent promotions that will hopefully still be on the table once the world somehow gets back to a sense of normalcy.

When asked about being a free agent at a time which sees all of these options on the table, Lio Rush told us, "Yeah, there's so many different places out there right now. It's really cool to see. Also, it's kind of sad to think about if some of these promotions are even going to still be a thing once things get back to normal. Obviously, a lot of people are taking a huge financial hit right now. I know of a few places that are most likely going to fold because of this, and it's kinda sad, it's really unfortunate that that's the way that it's gonna be. Like you said, there's so many places out there to work, and I'm just gonna stay home, spend this time with my family, wait until my phone rings. I'm definitely going to be open to some possibilities, but as far as right now, I'm just taking that much needed rest period."
