The respect Steve Austin has for Al Snow was clear throughout back-to-back podcast interviews released this past Tuesday and Thursday. In the first part, Austin admitted he wanted to talk more with Al, pick his brain about the wrestling business and find out more about his run before, during and after WWE.

They ended up talking for almost three hours.

Whether he was known for being the masked Avatar, dorky Leif Cassidy or for carrying a mannequin head around with him, Snow was viewed by his peers as a great in-ring hand who could help them look good. With 'Head', he also became one of the most cherished characters of the Attitude Era, even if his success did peak at mid-card level.

Snow's chat with Austin told several great stories about a career stretching back to the early-'80s, and revealed Al to be a true source of knowledge about all things wrestling. If you only remember Snow with that disembodied head, then prepare to be surprised by his journey, passion, and wisdom...
