That glum-looking face peering over the edge of UFC's cage is a young Al Snow. He was there to help Dan Severn train for a tournament held at UFC 4 on 16 December 1994. After Severn won his first bout in the Quarter Finals against Anthony Macias, Al piped in and told an interview that Dan would "go have sex" in between fights.

That sort of banter cracked a watching Jim Cornette up. When Al later went to bat for Severn after he lost in the Final to Royce Gracie, Cornette was sold on the outspoken youngster and wanted to book him for Smoky Mountain Wrestling. By that point, Snow was already being used by ECW, but Paul Heyman didn't stand in his way.

When hearing of this arrogant, bad-ass persona, it's pretty funny to think the WWF made Al into a hokey ninja called Shinobi. Even funnier is the fact he'd be 'hired in' by Cornette to help vanquish Shawn Michaels from the company. Creative should have just ran with him as a wise-cracking heel.
