Looking after and loving his wife and daughter doesn't mean Ciampa can't worry about the future of his wrestling dreams however. He does, albeit briefly before putting them aside and realising now is hardly the time to think about it all. Then, the niggling doubts at the back of his mind begin creeping back up.

"I have no clue, so I'm just doing my best not to think about it."

That sobering quote from Ciampa on the podcast tells the full story. The former NXT favourite (who had just debuted on Raw and SmackDown pre-WrestleMania alongside Johnny Gargano) doesn't know if he'll be on Raw, SmackDown, NXT or elsewhere when he recovers from injury. The future is mirky, so he's trying to forget it's coming for now.

Naturally, questions continually invade his brain and flood his mind with more reasons to worry. Will he be a singles star? Will he be put into a tag with Gargano? Did his injury cost Johnny a shot at the main roster? It's all overbearing at the moment.
