It's far from the only one. This entry has next-to-nothing to do with the art of pro wrestling, because it's bigger than that. Not only was is a personally tragic period in Ciampa's life, but it taught him one valuable lesson: nothing in wrestling can compare to what his wife went through.

A while back, she suffered the agony of miscarriage more than once. The pain must've been excruciating, and yet Ciampa watched as this brave woman fought valiantly against nature to give the couple a smiling, beautiful and healthy baby girl. Right then and there, the wrestler gave way to the family man, and he realised how strong his wife was.

Inspiring stuff, no doubt.

His wife's struggle to bear child put things into perspective for Ciampa when he was going under the knife to correct serious neck issues. That anterior cervical fusion was inconsequential when Tommaso began thinking about home.
