One of the first topics broached by Loudwire was Wiki's claim that Triple H started watching wrestling when he was just five years old. According to the man himself, that sounds true, although he's not exactly sure if he was actually five or not.

It was around that time anyway.

He does remember the first time wrestling came on TV at home. His dad got up from the couch, changed the channel to the WWF, sat back and watched as his son looked on wide-eyed at the screen. Triple H calmly took off his toy NFL helmet, tossed down his toy football, climbed up on his pop's knee and watched.

It didn't take long for him to become "mesmerised" by larger-than-life characters like Chief Jay Strongbow. A young Triple H was hooked as soon as his dad switched wrestling on for the very first time.
