10 Things We Learned From Week Two Of WWE's XFL

6. Post-Play Insight Is Still A Winner

Here's something the NFL can (and should) definitely steal.

It feels totally unique that the XFL has roving reporters getting the scoop from players immediately after each game's biggest plays. Hearing from QBs after they throw interceptions, for example, is a riot. This adds so, so much to the viewing experience.

Post-play insight shouldn't be written off as some gimmick that'll die out by mid-season either. There's a humble joy that comes from listening to players describe their route with excitement or regret, and it's a guilty pleasure to know upset kickers will be grilled after missing field goals.

Everything moves along at a zippy pace in the XFL, and the producers are doing a wonderful job of killing time between plays. That dedication to content, along with the shorter play clock, makes every game an easy watch for newcomers and football veterans.
