Regal said that pro wrestlers should obviously work hard on every aspect of their performance, "but that promo aspect can get you noticed instantly". He thinks it's vital that people work on improving their mic skills, because that's so important to the overall presentation.

Some might figure that William is exclusively talking about WWE, but he's not. He noted that in-ring skills got him to North America, but it was promos that took him to the next level in WCW and turned his career into something more substantial. Without them, he might not have reached the heights he did.
