Babyface superstardom was well underway by the time Becky headed for a box office buster against Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series 2018. One errant Nia Jax punch during a segment on Raw changed that, and it caused Becky to sit on the sidelines during Survivors instead.

Her never-say-die spirit wouldn't let Lynch admit the dream match was off. After being hooked by Nia, she was taken to hospital by Natalya, Sasha Banks and Bayley. In the ambulance, hospital bed and everywhere else, Becky kept repeating the same thing to her friends: "It's gonna' be great".

Nattie told her to let it go.

For the next few weeks, Becky was a depressive soul when she showed up backstage to munch some catering and bemoan what had happened. She was worried that the injury would kill her dreams of working more WWE main events, and she was also secretly fearful that WrestleMania 35 would be taken off the table.
