10 Things We Learned From WWE 24: Becky Lynch

4. WWE Ignore That She Was Meant To Be Heel

There's a bit more spin when 24 turns its attention to SummerSlam 2018 and the events immediately thereafter. After attacking Charlotte Flair in New York, Becky cut searing promos against Flair's privileged lifestyle and started growing into her new bad bitch role. All well and good, right?

Kinda'.

WWE fail to acknowledge that Becky blasted live crowds for continuing to shower her with support, and there's no focus given to the fact she was quite blatantly acting like the heel to Charlotte's jilted best friend character. When that didn't work and fans wouldn't stop cheering Becky, WWE caved and embraced the love instead.

The doc presents Lynch as a fired-up shooter who spoke for the people. That's not really accurate. Yes, her character had touches of that, but re-watching TV from the period right after SummerSlam makes it clear she was supposed to hear some boos.
