10 Things We Learned From WWE 24: Raw 25

10. WWE Left In A New Japan Reference

For starters, some dude told Chris Jericho on a WWE produced show how much he enjoyed his match with Kenny Omega at New Japan's Wrestle Kingdom 12 show.

As Y2J is shown leaving his hotel in New York so he can make tracks to the Barclays Center, he's accosted by a group of hardcore fans outside. After snapping a few pics with them, Jericho thanks one guy who mentions the 'Alpha vs. Omega' showdown. The surprising thing here is that WWE left it in.

There was a time when this would have been impossible; years ago, WWE would surely have deleted that scene. It's not as though it was crucial to the program or anything.

It's also noticeable that the same fans keep turning up, suggesting that WWE spent a few hours outside with them filming stars as they left for the show. That one guy on the right (with the blue hood) is the one who mentions the Omega match.

Weird, but also rather cool.
