10 Things We Learned From WWE 24: Raw 25
6. Raw 25 Marked A First For JR & The King
Would you believe that neither Jim Ross nor Jerry "The King" Lawler have graced those special commemorative seats WWE release for landmark broadcasts or major pay-per-views? Before Raw 25 came around, they hadn't, and it's heartening to hear both admit that they're proud to put a tick in that particular box.
It's mainly Lawler who shows his excitement about being featured alongside names like John Cena, Razor Ramon, Shawn Michaels, Brock Lesnar and Diesel. Meanwhile, Ross simply says that it's been a long time coming.
There's a sense that the legendary pair were having a giggle, but Lawler's happiness is also visible when he's passing by one of the seats and points out their faces. This is the fan in Jerry that's rarely pointed out on TV; remember how giddy he was about that first WrestleMania match in 2012? He was the same way at Raw 25.
You'd think that WWE would have plastered their faces over one of these chairs at some point in the past 25 years. JR and King were a significant part of the Attitude Era, after all.
