We live in a world where Jeremy Borash is pulling TNA footage for use on the WWE Network and the company are encouraging fans to check out the Global Wrestling Network app to see more of The Hardy Boyz in Impact Wrestling over the years.

Further, Jeff Hardy said on the special that TNA had been great for him. Then, in an honourable show of self-reflection, he stated that it was he who didn't meet them half way during his run. Echoing those statements, Eric Bischoff said Jeff could be a "pain in the ass", and even AJ Styles questioned why Hardy was allowed to get away with his nonsense.

Much of that animosity stemmed from Jeff's awful performance at Victory Road 2011 against Sting; Hardy considers that the moment he started taking responsibility for his addiction issues.

None of these comments, from Jeff, Bischoff or AJ, criticise the set up in TNA at the time. That's almost unexpected, and it's a frank display of honesty from all concerned to shine the spotlight firmly on Hardy rather than the promotion.
