Alexa was on the road to recovery post-HIAC, and WWE wanted to give her every chance to work against Trish or in the eventual tag match that was announced. In the lead up to the show, Vince asked her to work some live events so she'd shake off ring rust and be ready for Evolution.

On 20 October, Bliss teamed with Mickie James against Ronda Rousey and Nia Jax. During the same headlock takeover spot the had hurt her previously, Alexa felt her head smack against the canvas and instantly knew she was doomed. The old injury had flared up again due to the bang, and she was out of the 28 October pay-per-view.

WWE include footage from the house show injury in 365.

It's distressing to watch for multiple reasons. Not only did Bliss slip and come crashing down on her head, but Ronda's body fell on top of her too, adding to the weight. That's not selling from Alexa. She was 100% in pain and back on the injured list.
