A return at Royal Rumble followed the debut of her 'Moment Of Bliss' chat show segment on TV. That all led to the news that Alexa would be the host of WrestleMania 35. If you think that was a bit of downer for Bliss, who had worked a hot story with Nia Jax one year earlier, think again.

She appreciated the host spot more than you'd think.

Alexa knew she wasn't involved in a major feud during 'Mania season, and she was also aware that she'd been struggling with injuries for months and months. Therefore, she took the host slot as a gesture of goodwill from WWE. She'd still get to be on WrestleMania, and she'd still get the big time pay day.

Admittedly, the doc goes overboard gushing over the importance of who hosts the show. It's a token spot at best, and only really mattered to Bliss because of her injury woes and circumstances at the time. Being real, hosting 'Mania isn't as good as working a match, and that's something Alexa herself hints at when WWE don't.
