During the 2 year period he was away from WWE, Jinder Mahal was enlisted by The Great Khali to help book shows in his native India. Playing to around 30,000 and 60,000 fans respectively, these events were wildly successful and didn't even take place in major cities.

Jinder told Jericho he believes a show in Delhi would outdraw WrestleMania, which is a pretty bold claim. WWE probably won't like one of their newest headline stars talking that way, although Mahal was clearly hinting at the need for WWE to promote shows in the Indian market more often.

There's clearly a demand for pro wrestling in the country, so taking advantage of such a demographic must be in WWE's interest. Was Jinder foreshadowing what's to come during his interview on Talk Is Jericho? Could WrestleMania be about to hit India in the future? Stranger things have happened, but that'd be pretty out there.
