10 Things We Learned From WWE Champion Jinder Mahal On Talk Is Jericho
6. He Didn't Care During 3MB Run & Avoided Vince McMahon
Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal have both said during separate interviews that the 3MB stable was supposed to be much bigger than it ended up being. Sadly, The Shield came along at around the same time and blew McIntyre, Mahal, and Heath Slater completely out of the water. 3MB was put on the backburner from that point on.
Feeling down about the group's positioning on the card, Jinder admitted to Jericho that he didn't really care about his character or what he was doing on shows. Rolling up to arenas, he often felt trepidatious about what on earth he'd be booked to do that night, and he even outright avoided Vince McMahon.
There's a reason for Mahal's disinterest. WWE hardly shone a spotlight on 3MB after Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns became company darlings with The Shield. Being on the outside looking in must have been demotivating for Jinder, and he stopped putting in the effort.
