10 Things We Learned From WWE Chronicle: Dean Ambrose
7. His First Wrestling Coach Gave Him Terrible Advice
After undergoing a punishing workout session, Ambrose, totally drenched head to toe in sweat, takes solace on the trunk of a nearby 4x4. Whilst giving his vehicle some affection, he reveals the reason he's pushing himself to such a state so soon after recovering from a life threatening injury:
"The first ever wrestling coach I had in sixth grade said, 'Don't pace yourself. Just go until you fall over, and we'll pick you back up.'"
Apparently the advice, despite being utterly dreadful, has stuck with Dean his entire life, and he's now never satisfied unless he goes "20-30 minutes", leaving everything he has to give in the ring. Which rather explains that arduous ladder match at Money in the Bank 2015.
