10 Things We Learned From WWE Newcastle Live
5. The Dissension Between Harper And Orton Is Being Emphasised
Randy Orton's strange alliance with the Wyatts has confounded a lot of fans, but one aspect of the storyline may have slipped past a few people's radar: Luke Harper doesn't appear to be happy about the Viper's involvement.
Thankfully the wrestlers emphasised this more openly for the house show crowd, as Orton found himself stared down for the entirety of his entrance by the Wyatt Family member. At times it actually seemed as though Harper was trying to crack Randy with his infamous house show antics, cutting a far more animated figure than he's allowed to be on television. The Apex Predator had to suppress a few chuckles on the apron, but indulged in a spot of fan-baiting himself, getting everybody excited for the RKO before simply poking his opponent in the face.
Ultimately the heels would go down to the makeshift team of Kane and American Alpha, with the Big Red Machine picking up the pinfall.
