After the misery of Crown Jewel, 'Taker maybe hoped that he'd be able to redeem himself at WrestleMania 35, but it wasn't to be. WWE made no plans to use him on the card, and that was something he was torn between respecting and absolutely hating.

In the doc, he flips between being "ok with that" in his limo and outright saying, "I should be out there" when watching others romp through the curtain from Gorilla. There's a particularly harrowing moment when 'Taker shares a joke with a pumped-up Brock Lesnar and then turns, ashen faced, back towards the monitor in front of him.

Clearly, that night was torture.

Earlier episodes of 'Last Ride' discussed the importance of earning a spot on the 'Mania line up, so 'Taker wasn't putting on a 'boo boo' face here for no reason. He knew others deserved their chance, but he was also uneasy about the end of his run.
