10 Things We Learned From WWE’s Undertaker: The Last Ride (Chapter Two)

6. Doctors Played His WWE Theme Before Surgery

The Undertaker Surgery

What an unexpected easter egg this was.

Before going under the knife to have serious surgery that'd either make 'Taker pain free or go wrong and bench him permanently, doctors decided to play his WWE entrance music. That's not a joke - he remembers hearing his familiar theme right before dozing off "into oblivion".

It feels absolutely odd that docs would play anything of the sort before a major operation. It'd be like hospital staff playing the Game Of Thrones main title theme right before Kit Harington went in to have something fixed. Can you imagine that? It probably wouldn't happen, so why did a bloody funeral dirge ring out for 'Taker?

This scene played like something from a Vince McMahon-created send-up, not something that actually happened in real life. One was half-expecting to see McMahon appear as 'Dr. Heinie' and pull 'Taker's head out of his own ass.
