10 Things We Learned From WWE SmackDown (April 18)

4. Return Of The Queen

There was a strong argument for Charlotte Flair's move to Smackdown Live! being the best trade of the week, and she backed up those claims with a fabulous performance across multiple segments.

Opening the broadcast with the heel promo she has mastered as doyen of the Monday Night Raw Women's division, Charlotte was in rare form as the entitled newcomer, and brought fire out of Naomi at the point she was permitted to retort.

The spirited opening salvo between the pair lead Shane McMahon to make a match between the pair but also caused him no end of headaches from the remaining heels on the roster that felt slighted by her immediate ascent.

Her ability to cause frustration to virtually all of her peers only enhanced her status, especially when she was successful over the glowing champion in a non-title match to earn a shot on next week's broadcast.

Not only had she triggered dissent from her contemporaries, she was able to rub that back in their faces, strolling past them with an obnoxious 'Wooo!' in celebration of her victory.

It was flawless booking of one of the strongest performers on the roster, and it's genuinely hard to predict the outcome of next week's title match. All hail Tuesday's new queen.
