6. Lynch Mob

The post-match antics following the tag team match expedited the Welcoming Committee angle further, with Becky Lynch finally making her choice as dividing lines in the SmackDown Live women's division were clearly drawn.

The 'Irish Lass Kicker' was courted by the dangerous group last week, with the heels correctly identifying her as an odd woman out in the impending turf war.

Having found herself on the blue brand back-burner since conclusively losing to Alexa Bliss, failing to gain revenge over Mickie James and watching the title she fought hard for disappear from view, Becky's status was primed for intrigue.

The audience had invested too. Before hurling James Ellsworth into Tamina and triggering a second mass brawl, Lynch masqueraded as a new ally of the group, much to the audible disappointment of the crowd. Her babyface reveal drew monstrous cheers and a loud 'Becky' chant when she also succumbed to a beatdown as Charlotte and Naomi had just minutes earlier.

Tuesday's creative team have established six over and nearly-new characters, with three credible heels and three strong babyfaces. When the inevitable six-woman tag is out of the way, the host of fresh singles pairings leaves a lot to be grateful for in the prospering division.
