10 Things We Learned From WWE WrestleMania Weekend 2022

8. TV Megastars On The Convention Circuit

The return of a proper WrestleMania meant the return of a proper WrestleCon, but 2022's mega fan event was remarkably the first of its kind since AEW Dynamite launched in October 2019.

All Elite Wrestling's flexibility with its talent permits the TBS and TNT stars to appear on the meet-and-greet circuit, and the likes of Jon Moxley, Adam Cole, Britt Baker, Christian Cage, Ruby Soho and Jungle Boy were making bank taking full advantage of it.

Given a huge back wall within the main convention room at WrestleCon, the AEW roster had the longest lines by orders of magnitude. Darling of the circuit Danhausen was already part of that world, but there was no space to move for people awaiting their curses, selfies and very nice, very evil interactions.

The whole thing felt like either a sweet spot ahead of AEW's continued growth, or - more optimistically - an impressively profitable sign of things to come.
