It was a joy for Black to hear that Incendiary, one of his favourite hardcore bands, would be recording his "Root Of All Evil" entrance theme for WWE. He knew the band would lay down a killer, almost tribal drum intro and scathing riff, so all the track needed was lyrics to fit the foreboding sound.

That's where Aleister came in, and he was only too happy to write them himself.

Knowing he needed something that made him feel ready on the way to the ring, Black penned words that got him pumped up and he knew Incendiary would like. They did, and once both parties agreed on common ground lyrically, the band went to work recording the track for NXT.
