10 Things WWE Actually Got Right In 2020

WWE deserve a lot of praise for how they've handled parts of a difficult year.

2020 has been a year of global pandemics, major returns, tearful goodbyes, cinematic saturation, difficulty and uncertainty for WWE. That only makes it even more impressive that there has been some seriously good stuff to help keep a smile on everyone's faces over the past 12 months or so.

That, after all, is what pro wrestling should aim to do. It's entertainment.

Despite never once playing before a proper in-person live crowd from mid-March onwards (a skippable 9 March episode of Raw was the last broadcast to do so), WWE has rallied to make something of an otherwise-dire spell. That, honestly, is nothing short of remarkable considering the worldwide panic that's been circling company business.

Everyone involved deserves a lot of credit for how they've tried to give people a product worth watching that can distract, even for a few hours, from real-life worries. Has it been perfect? Of course not, but no wrestling product is anyway. Plus, as these moments show, 2020 has way more to shout about than you might think.
