10 Things WWE Actually Got Right In 2020

5. Two Nights Of WrestleMania

Here's another solid McMahon call.

Once it became clear that Tampa's Raymond James Stadium wouldn't be hosting a pirate-themed WrestleMania 36, WWE started thinking about other ways they could make the event stand out. Vince's eventual idea was to split 'Mania across two nights for the first time ever.

The result was two bloated cards rather than the usual one, but WWE did a tremendous job of making 'Mania feel like a celebration designed to entertain people during a tough time. They went heavy on the cinematic feel ('Boneyard' and 'Firefly Fun House' matches), and that also helped create a fun weekend of WWE fare.

One couldn't put a price on having a right good night in when WrestleMania aired - the world was a scary, precarious place, and that's maybe why it was so nice to have multiple nights of 'Mania pageantry to look forward to.

Three nights in 2021 then?
