10 Things WWE Actually Got Right In 2020

6. Moving On From The Performance Center

Vince McMahon made a snap decision when the world started shutting down in March. WWE's main man decided that all company operations would retreat into the cosy confines of the Performance Center, if only so programming commitments to USA Network and FOX would be fulfilled.

Though fine at first as a short-term fix, the PC always felt a tad restrictive. It couldn't accommodate the grandeur and spectacle that people expect from WWE programming, and everyone knew it. By August, McMahon had decided something else: WWE would develop the curious "ThunderDome" and take up a residency at the Amway Center in Orlando.

That was a good move.

The 'Dome was a step in the right direction and at least let wrestlers work in front of real fans, albeit on digital LED screens rather than in person. Still, the move has been a raging success from a presentation standpoint, and that hasn't changed following another jump to Tropicana Field.
