WWE have a poor record when it comes to promoting tag team wrestling, but they're doing a sterling job with SmackDown's division at the moment. The company are nailing the brand's main title program, and while the group could definitely use some extra depth, The New Day vs. The Usos is one of the best things going in WWE currently.

The matches have been stellar. Their Battleground clash was the clear standout on the year's worst pay-per-view, and the two teams went one better on SummerSlam's Kickoff Show, showcasing their incredible chemistry with another high workrate spectacle.

Away from the ring, The Usos' character work has been exceptional since they turned heel, and The New Day feel revitalised across from them. Their interactions have been so impressive that they even turned an in-ring rap battle (something that should have looked terrible through WWE's lens) into gold, and their promo battles are always entertaining.

There's another Tag Title scrap on the immediate horizon, but few would complain if WWE decided to extend this storyline through autumn and beyond, such has been the strength of their work.
