10 Things WWE Did Right At Payback

8. Sheamus Capitalized To Beat A Bloody Dolph Ziggler

It was a very good match between two guys that have developed an awesome chemistry together since Sheamus is awesome at being a bully while Ziggler is one of the best guys at selling a beating. Their match got a bit more time than Extreme Rules and it was better because of it. The finish to the match was one of the most unique endings in a WWE match in a long time. Ziggler was fighting out of the corner when he nailed Sheamus with an aggressive headbutt followed by a Superkick. The headbutt was a painful one because Ziggler was cut above the eye legitimately and was a bloody mess after it was over. Sheamus took advantage of the stunned Ziggler with a Brogue Kick for the win. That headbutt causing damage to the other guy and yourself is such an interesting spot. That move actually happens in Japan once in a while, but it definitely feels fresh in WWE. As for Ziggler, he received ten stitches. https://twitter.com/WWE/status/600104938983809024 Sheamus winning was no surprise. Ziggler got some mild payback in the match when he made Sheamus "kiss his arse" during the match, but he wasn't able to win like he did at Extreme Rules. That's some typical WWE booking where they like to have guys trade wins.
