The longest match of the night was John Cena's "I Quit" match with Rusev. They battled for 27 minutes and it proved that just because a match gets more time does not make it better. It just felt like it dragged a lot. There were so many times in the first 15 minutes where a guy would hit one move, then ref Mike Chioda would ask if they gave up and it was just so silly. Rusev would hit a basic move like a Fallaway Slam and then Cena would ask if he quit. From what? A slam? Give me a break. It was too cheesy. While the quality of match could have been better if it was shortened by ten minutes, the positive is that we don't have to see Rusev getting beat by Cena again. Poor Rusev. He may never recover from three straight PPV losses to Cena. At least WWE tried to protect Rusev with the finish. He put Cena in the Accolade, made him pass out and still didn't get the win. Then he didn't technically give up. It was Lana that gave up for him, so it gives him an out to blame her in order to start her face turn. It's going to be very interesting to see if Rusev succeeds after this feud and if Lana will work as a singles star. It might be a mistake. We won't know for a few months at the earliest.
