9. Damien Mizdow Got Sweet Revenge Until Big Show Ended His Night
Battle royals can be hit or miss. They are boring a lot of the time because they fill up the ring with a lot of guys who are barely on television, so it takes a few minutes to get rid of them in order to tell stories. In this match, the main story was Damien Mizdow finally going after The Miz. When he eliminated Miz it generated one of the loudest ovations of the night. A lot of people probably thought Mizdow would go on to win too, but he wasn't able to get rid of Big Show. It's likely that Mizdow will go back to the Sandow name, then feud with The Miz for the next month or two. Hopefully Sandow can get over as a serious babyface wrestler that the crowd really believes in because guys that are booked like a joke rarely do that well. He has so much talent that it's nice to see it being realized by the creative team. Big Show was not an obvious choice as the winner, but it was easy to see why WWE would do it. As JBL pointed out on commentary, Show rarely wins matches like this. Putting him over the way WWE did will make it meaningful when somebody beats him in the near future since the battle royal is fresh in people's minds.
