8. Daniel Bryan Won The Only WWE Title He Hadn't Won Before
There was a lot to like about the Intercontinental Title ladder match that opened the PPV portion of the broadcast. Each guy was given a chance to steal the show in the match, but it was the bump that Dean Ambrose that really stood out. Luke Harper gave him a Powerbomb outside the ring with Ambrose crashing into a ladder. Apparently the back of his head was bleeding too. It was nasty. It also showed that these guys were willing to put their bodies on the line to entertain us. What was unfortunate was that it didn't get more time. The match went about 15 minutes. If you think back to last year's Money in the Bank PPV in June they had two ladder matches with both of them hitting around 25 minutes of action. An extra ten minutes could have vaulted this match in to match of the year contender territory. Instead, it's just a very good match we'll remember for Ambrose taking a crazy bump into a ladder. On the positive side, Bryan winning gives a lot of credibility to the IC Title. No matter how long he holds it, he's a former WWE and World Champion that has held every title there is to win in WWE for a male wrestler. That's impressive. Plus, Bryan works both Raw and Smackdown, so he's going to have a strong presence on television while carrying around the title.
