4. The Rock And Ronda Rousey Created A Special Moment
This was actually the longest segment of the night. It went over 20 minutes with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H in the ring talking about how many people were at the show. The 76,000+ number is likely higher than the legit number because that's what WWE does. When Stephanie was out there bragging, The Rock showed up and suddenly we got a memorable segment we weren't expecting. It was a lot of fun to see Rock interacting with Hunter and Stephanie again. This is a rivalry that goes back to about 1998, which led to more matches in the following years too. They went from midcard rivals to top guys at the same time. The Rock was loved by the fans as he insulted Hunter & Steph, who told him to get out of their ring. The Rock casually walked over to UFC's Ronda Rousey at ringside, calmly told her to get in the ring and the verbal smack talk continued. With Rousey telling Stephanie that she's in charge of any ring she's in, the fight was on. Rousey took down Triple H with a judo throw and then threatened Stephanie before they bailed. It was a great tease. What this segment did was get people excited about what might happen when these four get involved again. It's probably going to lead to The Rock with Rousey in his corner against Triple H with Stephanie in his corner at WrestleMania 32. One year of build could be a lot of fun. It was a huge coup for WWE to get Rousey on the show. She's in the movie Fast 7 with Rock, so they are good friends. It led to WWE getting mainstream attention from ESPN and other outlets all over the world. Any time you can do a segment unadvertised like that where it gets people talking about something that may not happen for a year, it has to be considered a massive success.
