5. John Cena Wins US Title And Seems Happy About It
John Cena's run chase of the US Title has been weird just because we're so used to seeing him in the WWE (or World) Title picture for the past decade. Now he seems to be content in being the US Champion again. They told a good story with Rusev doing his best to keep Cena down, but like so many of Cena's opponents he couldn't do it. Every time it looked like Rusev might pull off the win, Cena found a way to come back. That's what he always does. We're used to it. This was the most predictable match on the card. Cena winning was no surprise at all. Rusev should have kicked out of the Attitude Adjust at the finish, though. Make Cena hit him with it again. Something like that would make Rusev stronger. If he's going to do the job that's fine, but you can still capitalize on the push he's received so far. What's next for Cena? Maybe another match for Rusev although a new rival might be on the horizon. What matters is we have a US Champion that actually is proud of the title. That's good for the future.
