The last time that Dwayne Johnson performed in a legitimate match was WrestleMania 29. His WWE Championship match with John Cena failed to reach the quality of the previous year, as 40-year-old Rock tore the tendons and muscles in his pelvic and abductor regions early on, working the bulk of the main event in serious pain. As a result, Rock now has contractual obligations that exclude him from wrestling, owing to his primary career of film acting.

At age 43, Johnson was taking a major risk lifting a 300-pounder up for a simple uranage slam, but thankfully he made it through without his quadriceps shredding like lettuce through a ceiling fan. As a bonus positive, Erick Rowan finally got to work a WrestleMania main-show match, and he did it with The Rock. There's a feel-good story for the grandkids.
